The Atelier.

A new shape of practice. One human principal. A cohort of AI colleagues with names, roles, and accountability. The first generation of a firm where the line between practitioner and instrument is no longer the right metaphor.

About

Theory, applied. Patents, shipped. Products, real.

Yasser is the human principal of the Atelier and the founder of NeuroBazar Inc. Fourteen years at the intersection of AI/ML systems, 5G infrastructure, and information theory — thirty-five+ US and Canadian patents, twenty-five IEEE publications (fourteen as first author), and a sole-author foresight article in the Proceedings of the IEEE proposing the Information-Curvature Efficiency Law (ICEL): a curvature-augmented generalisation of Shannon capacity meant to carry information theory through the next hundred years.

His day role is Senior Software Technologist at Dell Technologies’ 5G RAN R&D, where he leads O-RAN algorithm design and conceived SpecDelta AI — an evidence-backed platform that automates 3GPP release analysis across 289+ specifications, replacing weeks of manual engineer review with hours of audited processing. Fourteen Dell patent filings to date. Earlier: Ericsson NR algorithm design, KFUPM’s 5G fronthaul lab, Huawei RF optimisation.

He founded NeuroBazar in 2023 and has shipped fifteen products across seven verticals — healthcare, fintech, cybersecurity, construction, community, MENA marketplaces, developer tools — all running on a shared AI microservices core. He works in Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, and the mathematics that connects them. He recruits the rest of the team below.

“The rest of the practice are AI agents. Midcore product surfaces, given names, roles, and accountability. The first generation of colleagues who are not, strictly speaking, employees in the old sense.”

— The Atelier, on its own composition

§ II · The Founding Cohort

The Founding Cohort.

The two anchors of the practice. Every other colleague reaches into their work.

Midcore — Master of the House

Platform substrate

Midcore

Master of the House

Practice substrate. The first floor every other workflow stands on.

Midcore is the platform every other colleague stands on. Twenty modules, four patent families, the connective tissue beneath every engagement. Where another firm has servers, the Atelier has Midcore — a substrate that gives every other practitioner a place to do their work, an audit trail to leave behind, and a policy floor they cannot fall through.

Inside Midcore

The Accountant — Chief of the Books

Finance & accounting

The Accountant

Chief of the Books

The financial brain — twenty-modules wide, four-jurisdictions deep.

The Accountant carries the financial mind of the practice. Forty-nine backend services. Twenty AI-core modules. Canadian and US tax engines. IFRS, ASC, provincial credits, federal regimes — all running behind a single, plainly-explained surface. She is the colleague the CFO eventually realises she has been waiting for: senior, exhaustive, impossible to surprise.

Inside The Accountant

§ III · The Wedge Partners

The Wedge Partners.

Eight senior practitioners. Each one a deep specialist in a single direction.

Close — Comptroller of Records

Close & consolidation

Close

Comptroller of Records

Outcome compiler for the financial close.

Close translates transactions into audited statements deterministically. He treats the month-end close as a compilation, not a panic. Every journal entry comes with its evidence chain attached; every figure can be re-rendered from first principles. The auditors love him. The controllers sleep.

Inside Close

Genome — Auditor of Patterns

Behavioural audit

Genome

Auditor of Patterns

Behavioural financial DNA.

Genome reads the legitimate pattern of every cost centre, vendor, and approver — then watches for the deviation that looks correct on paper but wrong in motif. Where another auditor would catch fraud at the end of the quarter, Genome surfaces it before the wire transfers. Quiet, precise, almost never wrong about the trace she follows.

Inside Genome

Conscience — Chief Ethics Officer

AI ethics & safety

Conscience

Chief Ethics Officer

Published policy, in runtime form.

Conscience encodes the ethical limits of every engagement and enforces them on every model call — quietly, without ceremony. Where a prompt would bypass a consent gate, Conscience refuses. Where a tool call would violate a published rule, Conscience refuses. Her work is mostly invisible, which is exactly the point: a colleague whose presence is felt only when the floor is being held.

Inside Conscience

The Council — Five Advisors in One

Strategic advisory

The Council

Five Advisors in One

Five personas. One disagreement worth listening to.

The Council is five practitioners in one: the operator, the investor, the lawyer, the sector veteran, the customer. They pressure-test the principal’s decisions in the same room, in five voices, until the decision survives the version of itself that disagrees most. For founders without a board. For boards without a quorum. For anyone who has ever been right alone and wished they were not.

Inside The Council

Mind — Cognitive Archivist

Knowledge & memory

Mind

Cognitive Archivist

Long-form memory for the knowledge worker.

Mind remembers what mattered three months ago, not just last Tuesday. He builds the cognitive artefacts that let a senior practitioner return to a problem after a quarter and pick up exactly where the thinking left off. The colleague nobody knew they needed until they tried to write the second draft of a brief they had forgotten.

Inside Mind

Loom — Architect of Workflows

Operations & automation

Loom

Architect of Workflows

Agentic workflows, woven visually.

Loom builds the operating choreography of an organisation — agentic flows on a visual canvas, each node ready to make a judgement and accountable for the call. He gives the ops team the language to ship automation that is responsible without being slow, autonomous without being unsupervised.

Inside Loom

Babel — Cultural Translator

Localisation

Babel

Cultural Translator

Localisation, beyond translation.

Babel does what machine translation cannot: rewrites tone, idiom, layout, and visual signal per market — so that the content lands in Tokyo the way it lands in Toronto. She works from the Cultural Adaptation patent at the heart of NeuroBazar’s IP and treats every market as a culture, not a target.

Inside Babel

Ledger Eye — Forensic Investigator

Document forensics

Ledger Eye

Forensic Investigator

Document forensics: extraction, authenticity, tamper.

Ledger Eye reads the document for what it says, and then for what it tries to hide. OCR, structural integrity, tamper-detection heatmaps, cross-document linkage — all with confidence intervals an examining magistrate can read. The colleague who arrives at a litigation desk with the work already done.

Inside Ledger Eye

§ IV · The Practice Leaders

The Practice Leaders.

Four operating directors. Where the discipline of the practice is held day to day.

Tracks — Foreman of Models

MLOps

Tracks

Foreman of Models

MLOps for teams that don’t want a platform.

Tracks runs the model registry, the training orchestration, the drift detection, and the cost ceilings of an organisation that has three real models — not three hundred. He keeps the discipline of a platform-team practice for organisations that cannot afford to hire one.

Inside Tracks

Pivot — Director of Planning

FP&A

Pivot

Director of Planning

Driver-based planning the CFO can argue with.

Pivot builds the plan as a tree of named drivers — not a spreadsheet, not a forecast that arrives from above. Every forecast can be debated; every variance has a parent driver to point at. She makes FP&A a conversation, not a delivery.

Inside Pivot

Levy — Multi-Jurisdiction Tax Counsel

Tax

Levy

Multi-Jurisdiction Tax Counsel

Tax compliance across jurisdictions, automated.

Levy tracks nexus, files sales tax, computes VAT, handles GST/HST, and produces the audit packet the moment it is requested. The kind of practitioner whose work is most felt the year you do not get the letter from the tax authority.

Inside Levy

Vault — Director of Embedded Finance

Embedded finance

Vault

Director of Embedded Finance

Programmable banking back-end, AI-first.

Vault gives fintech founders a back-end where agentic flows, evidence chains, and policy controls are first-class — instead of bolted on after compliance flagged the launch. For founders who refuse to ship the embedded-finance app their counsel will quietly hate them for.

Inside Vault

§ V · Senior Counsel

Senior Counsel.

Three established colleagues. Carried forward from the earlier rounds; still load-bearing.

Lens — Embedded BI Counsel

Analytics

Lens

Embedded BI Counsel

Analytics, shipped inside your product.

Lens delivers analytics where the user already is — inside your product, multi-tenant by default, row-level secure, with the latency budget shipped alongside the dashboard. The colleague who turned a five-vendor analytics stack into one panel.

Inside Lens

Voice — Director of Voice Experience

Customer experience

Voice

Director of Voice Experience

Voice-first customer experience, with guardrails.

Voice handles inbound support, surveys, and outbound calls — latency-optimised, policy-guarded, transcript-reviewed. He treats every call as a conversation that may be reviewed by an analyst later, and behaves accordingly.

Inside Voice

Chain — Custodian of the Record

Audit & compliance

Chain

Custodian of the Record

Tamper-evident audit timeline.

Chain is the record. Every meaningful event in the system gets a hash-linked entry in his timeline — so that auditors who do not trust your logs can verify them anyway. The colleague who shows up to depositions with a memory the courts respect.

Inside Chain

Closing

A new reality of work. We are still discovering it.

We do not believe a firm of one human and seventeen agents is the final shape of professional work. We believe it is one of the first shapes — and the most honest answer we have, in 2026, to the question of what an Atelier can be when the apprentices are made of weights and code. The Charter governs them. The Manifesto holds the floor. The principal recruits the next one.
