Cookie policy
A short policy because we use almost no cookies. What we do use, why, and how to control it.
Last updated ·
This website does not use marketing cookies. It does not use tracking pixels. It does not embed advertising scripts. Below is a complete account of the small number of storage mechanisms the site does use, with what they hold and why.
What we use
Theme preference (localStorage)
The string key nbz-theme stores your preferred colour mode (light, dark, or system). It is set only if you change the theme from the default. It is read on every page load to render the chosen mode. It never leaves your browser.
Estimator state (sessionStorage, transient)
While you are using the estimator on /en/estimate/, your answers are held in memory and cleared when you close the tab. They are never sent to a server.
What we do not use
We do not use first-party tracking cookies, third-party advertising pixels, retargeting tags, social-media share scripts that set cookies, or session-replay tools that record your interactions. The site loads no third-party JavaScript on routes other than the estimator (which uses a single bundled React island). Web fonts are served from Google Fonts and Google's CDN, which sets a long-lived cache header but no cookies on our origin.
How to control what little we use
Use your browser's settings to block localStorage for neurobazar.com. The site will continue to function; only your theme preference will reset to the system default on each visit.
Our position
The minimal storage on this site is a deliberate match for the Manifesto commitment to sovereignty by default. We do not believe a website that publishes a position on consenting AI should ask its readers to consent to tracking.
